Ben Kedem (born 1988) is an Israeli illustrator that creates surrealistic worlds that combines elements of nature, animals ,and people from other places, real or fantasy, with dreams subconscious, mysticism, and other elements that comes from the imagination, history books, legends and myths.

 

He draws with black pen on paper, combined with digital colouring, in a style that is influenced by belgian-french graphic novels, Japanese art and culture, steam-punk, fantasy and science-fiction. He is inspired by artists such as William Blake, Moebius, Hayao Miyazaki, Tove Janson, Maurice Sendak, Albrecht Durer, Hieronimus Bosch and more.
